A recipe for happiness

La ricetta per ridurre lo stacco con il ritorno alla realtà:

una buona dose di posti belli mescolata con una buona quantità di cose belle.

Storia di un martedì mattina tra zampilli d’acqua e verdi siepi, in una villa rinascimentale che è uno dei luoghi del cuore nella città in cui vivo.

Villa D’Este è uno spazio estemporaneo, dove il centro abitato scompare e chiudendo gli occhi i suoni che rimangono sono quelli prodotti dai giochi d’acqua e dalle esclamazioni di stupore dei turisti; volendo esser precisi anche la melodia elaborata ogni ora dalla Fontana dell’Organo che tramite un’ardito meccanismo produce suoni esclusivamente con caduta dell’acqua.

Parlando di cose belle, un pacchetto dalla forma particolarissima, come se fosse il contenitore di un’antica pergamena  o mappa del tesoro, cela invece un paio di occhiali da sole (che indosso in queste foto) e che si trasformano in occhiali “da vista”.

Story of a Tuesday morning between the fountains and green hedges, in a Renaissance villa that is one of the places of the heart in the town in which I live.

Villa D’Este is an extemporaneous space, where the city disappears and closing the eyes, the sounds that remain are those produced by the water and the exclamations of amazement of tourists; to be clear also the melody produced every hour from the Organ Fountain that with  an inventive mechanism produces sounds exclusively thanks to the falling water.

Speaking of beautiful things, a package with a  particular shape, as if it was the container of an ancient treasure map or parchment, instead contains a pair of sunglasses ( that I’m wearing in these photos) and can become into “reading glasses “.
