Amsterdam & Rotterdam

Ogni anno sembra esser scandito da giorni speciali: un compleanno, un Natale e un Capodanno.

Ora un altro capito è archiviato (quello del Natale), ma prima di metter da parte il 2014, volevo mostrarvi le ultime foto del mio viaggio in Olanda.

Amsterdam e Rotterdam sono le protagoniste.

La prima con i suoi canali, case colorate ( ed anche un po’ pendenti), carica di tradizioni e sicuramente di scenari tipici dell’immaginario dei Paesi Bassi.

La seconda con la sua avvenenza futuristica; lasciano a bocca aperta i grattacieli che appaiono immediatamente all’uscita dalla stazione centrale.

E probabilmente per ciò che studio la mia preferenza va a quest’ultima.

Imperdibile un giro panoramico sulla torre di Rotterdam (Euromast) , alta ben 185 metri, da cui lo scenario è veramente suggestivo… i grattacieli diventano puntini e le nuvole si possono sfiorare.

Chiudo questo breve ma intenso capitolo della mia vita, ammirando queste foto e ricordando le sensazioni provate, la scarica di adrenalina che ogni viaggio sa dare.

Ammirare il mondo è una delle cose più belle che può succedere.

Every year seems to be marked by special days: a birthday, Christmas and the New Year’s Eve.

Now another chapter is closed (the one of Christmas), but before letting away the 2014, I wanted to show you the latest photos of my trip to Holland.

Amsterdam and Rotterdam are the protagonists.

The first with its canals, colorful houses (and even a little crockeed), full of traditions and surely with a lot of typical imaginary views of the Netherlands.

The second with her amazing  futuristic look; I was without words when I saw the skyscrapers that appear immediately outside the central station.
And probably, for what I study, my preference goes to this town.

My advice is for a scenic ride on the tower in Rotterdam (Euromast), with 185 meters high, where the scenery is really impressive … the skyscrapers become dots and you can touch the clouds.

I close this brief but intense chapter of my life, admiring these photos and remembering the feelings, the adrenaline that every trip can give.

Admire the world is one of the most beautiful things that can happen.
