I will tell you my Paris with the eyes of the first time, of those who fall in love unexpectedly and are amazed.
Perhaps in my heart I kept this city secretly hidden from my mind to enjoy it in a special moment, not to waste it and to appreciate it as you do with the rarest things.
It was the goal of my birthday, for the first time spent in the way I dreamed for all my life: traveling with my bf..
This is my mini guide of Paris, how to enjoy its atmosphere in 3 days full of emotions.
Before we continue, I always remind you how important travel insurance is. I’m going to share the one I’ve been using for years on all my trips, I’ve always had a great experience with it, and it’s also one of the most affordable options on the market, valid worldwide. You can find the link here: HEYMONDO.
HOW TO ARRIVE AND WHERE TO SLEEP
On the night of my – almost – birthday we boarded in Rome Fiumicino on the wings of our trusted Vueling towards Paris Orly (one of the most central airports).
To get to the heart of the city, after the flight, and more precisely in our hotel located in Le Marais it took us an abundant hour.
One of the most beautiful “things” in Paris is the freedom of movement, public transportation and, above all, the metro works so well that you will not even want to call an Uber.
In our hotel, a few steps from the Republique stop, precisely the Rennaisance Paris Repubblique,
I found a wonderful surprise waiting for me: fresh flowers, a bottle for the midnight cheers and a city guide with the best places to kiss: )
DAY 1
Good morning city of love, a magnificent sun shines in the sky and today is my birthday.
First step? the district of Montmartre. An area where inspiration comes from the walls, the artists’ area, the most bohemian place where my soul is perfectly aligned.
A quick stop at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and a longer stop to take some pictures in one of the most instagramed places in the city: La Maison Rose. Could I miss an all pink Cafè?!
We walk towards the Moulin Rouge embracing the atmosphere of Montmartre, falling in love with every corner and facade.
Along the way we find one of the brasseries that I had been recommended and home to some of the scenes of the Fabulous World of Amelie: Cafè des Deux Moulins.
You have to taste a croque (madame or monsieur). The beauty of this restaurant is that despite the celebrity received remains authentic, it will be easy to meet even the Parisians, who despite the crowding, still consider it as a point of reference.
We spent the rest of the afternoon only at the Je T’Aime Wall (Abesses metro station) and the Eifell Tower.
There are several beautiful spots from which to capture the city’s symbol: in the shade of a tree, from the Pont Alexandre III, from the banks of the Seine, from the evocative Pont de Bir-Hakeim, and finally from the Trocadero Gardens.
You can walk for miles and miles without realizing it.
Eiffel Tower
We waited for sunset, with a quick, sweet stop at the famous Carette pastry shop (in Trocadero); believe me, the emotion of the Eiffel Tower’s light show on your birthday in one of the most beautiful places in the world moved me to tears.
A magic that seems banal, which I didn’t appreciate from photos and videos, but which in person won me over, going straight to my heart.
DAY 2
We are not as lucky with the weather on the second day of our Paris, so we take quieter times: breakfast in bed and a tour of our beautiful
hotel.

We discover that pure art flows in the basement: a world full of street art where every thursday there is a fight club o
nly for women.
</p&
amp;gt;
Then we realize that even the honey of our breakfast is self-produced by the hotel, there are bee houses in various spots.
A visit to the spa and the wonderful rooftoop of the building is inevitable.
Having a perspective from above always helps me to better understand the points of reference and immediately everything becomes clearer in my mind.

Reloaded from our breakfast we gather the courage to face the deluge and head towards the Louvre and the Jardin de Tuileries, beautiful public gardens to admire in late spring to better perceive their splendor.we were at the end of March and still had not exploded flowering).

We see the Arc de Triomphe and walk up to the foot of the famous Ferris Wheel of the city.
Where to eat

But the weather does not give us any respite so we decide to take refuge in one of the most famous historical pastry shops in Paris: Angelina.

Some customers? Coco Chanel, Proust …

A true princess afternoon in an atmosphere of the Belle Epoque, a must-eat is the Mont Blanc and a hot chocolate
Next stop?
the famous Place Vendôme, home to all the most famous jewelers in the city.

t=”1390″ />

After an aperitif with my friends French photographers known in Peru (the magic of a job that allows you to have friends all over the world)…

dinner is in the hotel restaurant: Origin at the Renaissance Republique</s
trong>.
For the first time I tried the mystical experience of tasting the escargot.
The atmosphere is super romantic and the gourmet cuisine remembers and re-elaborates to perfection the French tradition.
That sweet was heaven, but I think it’s enough just a picture to understand it.
DAY 3
Last day in the city of love, last moments before flying again at sunset.
We still have a lot to see but I think it would take a week to fully admire Paris or more.

Louvre

Let’s start from the Louvre, wise choice to take tickets online, to enter we waited even 5 minutes, and believe me, out there was the longest line I’ve seen in my lif
e.

The Louvre is objectively the most beautiful museum structure I’ve ever seen, but it would take at least 2 days to admire it with the time it deserves.

We preferred to know him “superficially” with the promise of the return, dear old man.
The Italian Renaissance masterpieces, could not miss a crowded greeting to the famous Mona Lisa (arm yourself with so much patience in standing in line).
I understand why it is so fascinating for the global imagination, in addition to the skilful technique, it really has a magnetic effect.
Like the Virgin of the Rocks, of which I had seen the second version at the National Gallery in London.
Notre Dame

</h4>

The Cathedral of Notre Dame is next and we also wanted to enter in the Saint Chapelle which closes very early (before 16) and we did not havetime to visit.

Last stop before going to the airport is another of the districts that you have all recommended: Saint Germain des Prés.
A thousand colored doors welcome you in the area where you can choose between the most beautiful cafè in the city.
Cafè de Flore is one of these.

Dear Paris, you have been a precious flower to discover, you made me change my mind and fall in love with your charm as elegant lady and breath of creativity asa young girl.

A bientot and thank you for giving me the best birthday of my life.
