Where to find summer on January? My travel diary of Seychelles.

Welcome to the first part of my story about a dream trip: the Seychelles.

These islands of the African continent represent a reality not far from us (Europe), where it is possible to  find summer all year round.

January for me is one of the most difficult months, I really think I’m not genetically programmed for the cold, so I opted for a romantic getaway with my bf.

After the first time in a tropical country (Caribbean last July) I think I developed a sort of dependence on this kind of reality.

The felling of the sun all year round, white beaches with silky sand and people who do not know the stress, always ready to offer you a smile.

I found this magical dimension also in Seychelles.

It must be said that we were not very lucky with the weather (at the end of January), but here it’s normal to find rainy days. The temperatures, however, are always  between 25-30 degrees so it will always be possible to stay in the pool or sea.

Before we continue, I always remind you how important travel insurance is. I’m going to share the one I’ve been using for years on all my trips, I’ve always had a great experience with it, and it’s also one of the most affordable options on the market, valid worldwide. WHERE TO SLEEP TO LIVE A DREAM EXPERIENCE AT SEYCHELLES: Carana Beach

In the first part of my trip I will tell you about the resort experience, we were guests of the magnificent Carana Beach</a> in the north of the largest island: Mahè.

Believe me when I tell you that it was aperfect hotel experience- in every detail.</span>

The Carana Beach has one of the most beautiful beaches of the island and you can access even if you are not guests of the hotel;

with white sand and the famous granite stones that characterize these islands and make them unique, sculptures of nature shaped by the Indian Ocean.&amp;lt;/p&gt;

I think there is nothing more magical than being able to wake up and fall asleep with the sound of the sea, walking on awakening chasing tropical shells and walking hand in hand under the moon that illuminates the beach.

If I could choose a way of life forever, I would choose this.

Another big plus was the food, we did not find it any better on the island. The traditional cuisine has the scent of curry, the taste of rice and fresh fish, here it is reworked in a simply delicious way.</p&gt;

One of the things I loved about the island’s inhabitants is to note how deeply they care about their environment and what they have managed to build, most hotels and tourist facilities are perfectly integrated into na

ture.

I think you can hardly distinguish the beautiful sea view bungalows where we stayed in the photos.

Private tour of the island of Mahé with Mason’s Travel</h2>&lt;/h2&gt;

Leaving the wonderful Carana Beach was really a trauma, but we had a wonderful adventure waiting for us: a tour of the island to discover the famous giant tortoises, the most beautiful beaches and an overwhel

ture.

We have chosen to rely on Mason’s Travel, the most important tour operator in the Seychelles, which also makes island tours among its many activities. Our private tour took us from one end to the other, passing through the capital: Victoria.

Here we had the great fortune to attend a Hindu ceremony in front of the symbolic temple of the city.

The Seychelles are a true example of living in harmony, here many religions merge into one people who never want to fight.

I leave you to the beautiful moments lived and keep in touch for  the next episode with our on the road.
