Arashiyama.

Un distretto di Kyoto che mi ha totalmente rapito il cuore.

Immaginate di sentire la musica del vento tra le foglie di anziani bambù, abbracciati dalla fresca ombra delle loro fronde.

Sentire l’aria capace di raccontare storie bellissime e perdersi tra i sentieri di muschio, scoprendo all’improvviso templi antichi.

Vi racconterò di queste ore come tra le più belle di sempre. Dopo aver trascorso qualche giorno a Kyoto, a caccia di Geisha e luoghi spirituali, il quarto ha in programma tempo libero.

Monica, la nostra guida e tour leader del Giappotour con Blueberry Travel , propone al gruppo di spostarsi verso uno dei luoghi più scattati e più affascinanti del Giappone: la Foresta di Bambù, ad Arashiyama.

A Kyoto district that has totally break my heart.

Imagine hearing the music of the wind through the leaves of elderly bamboo , embraced by the cool shade of their fronds.

Feel the air capable of telling great stories and get lost in the paths of moss, suddenly discovering ancient temples.

I will tell of those hours as among the most beautiful ever. After spending a few days in Kyoto, chasing Geisha and spiritual places, the fourth is in leisure program.

Monica, our guide and tour leader, proposes the group to move to one of the most clicked places and most fascinating of Japan: the Bamboo Forest, in Arashiyama.

Come arrivare ad Arashiyama?

Abbiamo preso la linea ferroviaria JR dalla stazione di Kyoto, circa una mezz’ora.

Alla fine tutto il gruppo decide di andare, tremendamente affascinato da questo piccolo centro, poco fuori la grande città spirituale.

Arrivati alla stazione la prima sorpresa: una “foresta” di kimono, istallazione artistica che unisce la tradizione dell’abito giapponese per antonomasia al gusto di un’opera contemporanea.

How to get to Arashiyama?

We took the JR train line from Kyoto station, about a half hour.

In the end the whole group decides to go, tremendously fascinated by this small town, just outside the great spiritual city.

Arriving at the station the first surprise: a “forest” of kimono, art installation that combines traditional Japanese robe quintessential taste of a contemporary work.

La Foresta di Bambù

Questo distretto di Kyoto è ricco di storia, cultura e bellezza per gli occhi.

Basta spostarsi di qualche centinaia di metri a piedi dalla stazione per trovarsi immersi nella magia della Foresta di Bambù.

La stretta via si ritaglia uno spazio tra gli alti arbusti e l’atmosfera è incredibile.

Qui per la prima volta abbiamo incontrato i “galoppini”: baldi giovani giapponesi che trasportano con la sola forza fisica ( e correndo), i turisti su di un risciò.

E’ incredibile come sotto gli altissimi bambù il sole filtri a stento e la sensazione di frescura sia rigenerante.

The Bamboo Forest

This Kyoto district is rich in history, culture and beauty for the eyes.

Just move a few hundred meters walk from the station to find yourself in the magic of the Bamboo Forest.

The narrow street carves out a space between the tall shrubs, and the atmosphere is amazing.

Here for the first time we met the “idlers”: bold young Japanese carrying with only physical strength (and running), tourists on a rickshaw.

Tenryu-ji

Poi all’improvviso, lungo il percorso della foresta, leggiamo l’insegna di un tempio. La curiosità vince e svoltiamo immediatamente, dopo non molto mi sono resa conto di esser entrata in un regno spirituale patrimonio Unesco.

Si tratta di un famosissimo luogo per la cultura giapponese, costruito per la prima volta nel IX sec.

Nel periodo di massimo splendore contava 150 edifici che si sviluppavano su una superficie di 330.000 mq.

Lasciatevi trasportare dagli occhi e dal cuore per scoprire i più belli. Il principale con annesso giardino zen è a pagamento, ma se avete fatto il biglietto per entrare nel parco dovrete pagare solo una differenza di 100 yen ( 500yen parco+tempio).

Come al solito non mi sono pentita di esser entrata in un luogo mistico; togliere le scarpe e camminare sul legno riscaldato dal sole che sprigiona il suo odore più puro e godere di una vista distensiva è veramente un momento unico e ineguagliabile.

Ma un’altra tappa ci aspetta…

Tenryu-ji

Then suddenly, along the path of the forest, we read the sign of a temple. Curiosity wins and we turn immediately, before not long I realized to be entered into a spiritual realm Unesco heritage.

It is a famous place for Japanese culture, built for the first time in the ninth century.

In the heyday it counted 150 buildings that were being developed on an area of 330,000 square meters.

Let yourself be carried by the eyes and the heart to discover the most beautiful. The main with adjoining Zen garden is with a fee, but if you did the ticket to enter the park you will have to pay only a difference of 100 yen (500yen park + Temple).

As usual I have not regretted being entered into a mystical place; take off your shoes and walk on the wood warmed by the sun that gives off its purest smell and enjoy a relaxing view is truly unique and incomparable.

Parco delle Scimmie Giapponesi

Io e il mio lui ci dividiamo dal gruppo, avevo bisogno di esplorare e scattare la Foresta di Bambù un altro po’.

Monica, rimane il nostro punto di riferimento e ci fornisce le indicazioni per raggiungere un altro luogo speciale ad Arashiyama: il parco delle scimmie giapponesi.

Uscendo dalla Foresta di Bambù si prosegue il cammino sulla destra, bisogna attraversare un ponte che sovrasta un larghissimo fiume sul quale potrete vedere una miriade di aironi riposarsi.

Proprio alla fine del ponte si svolta di nuovo a destra e inizia la salita.

Il parco è un ambiente totalmente naturale in cui le scimmie non hanno alcun tipo di recinzione o costrizione.

Bisogna camminare un paio di km per poter arrivare nel punto più alto e vederle nel loro habitat.

Ho ancora ben impresso nella mente il momento in cui ho scovato la prima: un piccolo ruscello scorreva sulla mia sinistra e a giocare sulle sue sponde una bellissima scimmietta.

Ero totalmente esaltata, non ne avevo mai osservata una nel proprio ambiente naturale.

Qualche metro più avanti ne avrei viste molte di più; si tratta di una colonia di 140 esemplari tra cuccioli di tre mesi a i più adulti che arrivano a 37.

Ho passato ore ad ammirarle e scattarle, rendendomi conto della profondità del loro sguardo. Ci ho visto tanto del nostro.

Troverete anche un punto di ristoro dove è possibile comprare noccioline o pezzi di mela ( che preferiscono) per 150 yen.

Mi raccomando però, non guardatele negli occhi… vi urleranno contro!

Japanese Monkey park

Me and my him we split from the group, I needed to explore and take the forest Bamboo some more ‘.

Monica, remains our reference point and provides us the directions to another special place in Arashiyama: the park of the Japanese monkeys.

Leaving the Bamboo Forest continue the path on the right, you have to cross a bridge over a wide river on which you will see a lot of herons rest.

Right at the end of the bridge turn right again and start the climb.

The park is a totally natural environment where the monkeys do not have any type of fence or compulsion.

You have to walk a couple of kilometers in order to reach the highest point, and seeing them in their habitat.

I still firmly ingrained in the mind the time when I found the first one: a small stream flowed on my left and to play on its shores a beautiful monkey.

I was totally excited, I had never observed in their natural environment.

A few meters further, I would have seen many more; it is a colony of between 140 specimens of three months puppies at the most adults who arrive at 37.

I spent hours admiring them and taking them, realizing the depth of their eyes. I’ve seen so much of our.

There is also a refreshment bar where you can buy peanuts or pieces of apple (they prefer) to 150 yen.

I recommend, however, do not look at them in the eye … they will cry against!
