Rome. A race for love.

Oggi voglio raccontarvi una storia.

Un racconto di gesta che definirei di un’eroina dei giorni nostri.

Io martedì lei l’ho incontrata a Roma grazie ad eJero che mi ha invitata a partecipare a una delle tappe, come vi avevo preannunciato qui.

Sono le 11.30 di una giornata romana in cui l’aria è pulitissima, poche nuvole che sembrano solo dare più enfasi alla storicità della città.

Lei, la runner Ivana Di Martino, è a Circo Massimo e corre. Io arrivo e mi fanno notare un “puntino” seguito da altri e da una bicicletta, ma è solo alla metà dei 24 km che deve percorrere per arrivare alla sua meta giornaliera.

Il tempo vola in compagnia della fantastica Nunzia Cillo, blogger che segue come foto reporter il percorso di Ivana e “l’inviata speciale” di eJero per supportare la causa.

Qualche km più avanti è il Campidoglio ad accogliere Ivana, proprio qui le forze mancano e il momento è critico, ma da brava eroina basta poco per rimettersi in piedi.

Una debolezza che a me ha fatto capire la grande forza che si cela dietro un obiettivo.

Il credere così intensamente in un intento tanto da rinunciare alla propria essenza fisica.

Lei che corre per difendere i diritti dei minori in fuga per me non può che esser definita un’eroina.

La sua corsa prosegue e in molti la sostengono.

Today I want to tell you a story .

A tale of deeds of a hero of our times.

In Tuesday I met her in Rome thanks to eJero who invited me to participate in one of the stages , as I had predicted here .

It’s 11.30 of  a day in Rome where the air is very clean , only a few clouds that seem to give more emphasis to the historicity of the city.

She, the runner Ivana Di Martino, is in Circo Massimo and runs. I arrive and I see a “dot” followed by others and a bicycle , but it is only half of the 24 km to get to the daily  destination.

Time flies in the company of fantastic Nunzia Cillo , she is a blogger who follows as photo reporter Ivana’s run and  the” special envoy ” of eJero to support the cause.
A few kilometers further we are on the Capitol to welcome Ivana , here the forces are missing and the time is critical, but as a good heroine she takes very little to get to her feet .

A weakness , that to me, has made clear the great strength that it is hide behind a goal.

She believes so strongly in a interests, that gives up to their physical essence .

She is running to defend the rights of the child and for me she could only called a hero.

Her running continues with a lot of supporters.
