Story of a sunset time

Ore 19.00 in una piccola città alle porte di Roma, aria calda da sembrare veramente estate.

La parte più antica della città, quella in cui le persone si parlano ancora da una finestra all’altra e cenano con la porta aperta.

Quella in cui ogni muro rappresenta un pezzetto di storia, quella in cui l’odore dei fiori emana negli stretti vicoli.

Fiaccole svoltando l’angolo che si sà, l’estate porta con sé le fastidiose zanzare.

E quella sensazione di benessere che solo il tramonto di una giornata calda e soleggiata sa dare.

Tanto che la meta, non può che diventare una cena ai piedi di un antico tempio romano, uno dei posti che più in assoluto preferisco.

It was 7 o’ clock in a small town at the beginning of Rome, warm air  that seems really summer.

The oldest part of the town, in which the people still speaks from one window to another and have dinner with the open door .

One in which every wall is a piece of history, one in which the smell of flowers is around you.

Torches turning the corner that you know, the summer brings with it the annoying mosquitoes.

And that feeling of wellness that only a sunset of a sunny and warm day of summer can give. 

So much that the purpose for the evenig, can only become a dinner at the foot of an ancient Roman temple, one of my favourite place ever.
