#WhereToGo: Argentario (Tuscany)

Un’estate atipica fatta di piccole fughe di 24 ore in 24 ore.

Questa la direzione di un incerto 14 Agosto tra nuvole e un raggio di sole: Argentario e nello specifico Porto Santo Stefano.

Dopo esser stata a Capalbio qualche settimana fa, era rimasta la curiosità di vedere cosa ci fosse oltre quel ponte che a destra e sinistra è solo mare.

Esplorare quel lembo di terra che si estende dalla costa Toscana.

Nuovamente mi sono affidata ai vostri consigli su Instagram (questo il mio profilo), che mi hanno portata in una caletta di quelle che bisogna stropicciare gli occhi, della serie sogno o son desta.

Cala del Gesso è tra le più belle dell’Argentario, un mare cristallino e l’isola del Giglio davanti agli occhi.

Tempo di sole, mare e amici, per poi faticosamente risalire il promontorio e assaporare il tramonto da Porto Santo Stefano.

Il 14 Agosto qui significa pre palio, quattro “battelli” per ogni ogni squadra di cui ciascuno rappresenta una contrada e viene chiamato con il nome di un  vento.

Difficile spiegare la sensazione, tra il tintinnio di un brindisi e i cori, quasi da stadio, provenienti dai piccoli bar che circondano questo angolo di paradiso.

O forse è semplice: star bene.

On August 14 here it imeans pre palio (like the Palio in Siena but on the sea), the four “boats” for each team each that represents a district and  they  are called with the name of a wind.
